Emmy is a veteran Sound Engineer and Acoustic Designer from Chennai who worked for many years with stalwarts like Ilayaraja and A R Rahman. Drawing from his early experience as a sound engineer and acoustic consultant for Indian Space Research Organization, he also worked for great film music composers M S Viswanathan, Shyam, K J Joy and Shankar Ganesh as a Sound engineer. He has done the acoustic design of some of A R Rahman’s studios and music schools. Emmy has designed many acclaimed recording studios and auditoriums in South India. Winner of Radio Mirchi Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in Sound Design, Emmy is the rock pillar behind movieroom’s audio and acoustic design decisions.
